Materials

We want to ensure that we use the most eco-friendly and sustainable materials wherever possible. Whilst this can be a challenge, we will do our best and always share full details on the materials used in our products and where these have been sourced from. The full breakdown of the materials used can be found here.

Manufacturing

All our garments are all produced locally, either by Delphine herself in our St Neots Studio or at Solar Clothing Limited based in London. Electricity that is provided to the studio is completely renewable and Carbon Dioxide produced by gas that heats the studio is completely offset.

The limited distance between our factory and our office has also allowed us to reduce internal shipping distance of materials and garments. We have also visited the factory on numerous occasions and have been able to verify the working conditions of its employees.

Packaging

The vast majority of our packaging is recyclable. This includes the box in which our items are sent and the tissue paper that the clothes are wrapped in for protection. The stickers used on our packaging are not recyclable but are fully biodegradable.

Logistics

For our internal shipments we prioritise road transport whenever possible. Beyond the sourcing of our fabrics, currently the partners that we work with are all based in London to reduce internal shipping distances.
